Happy Birthday to Philander Vorse, farmer and native of Elk Creek. He served in the 14th PA Cavalry in the Civil War.

The descendants of Giles Irvin and Ada Vorse are celebrating their 50th Family Reunion August 14, 2010 at Moraine State Park in Western, PA.  The fun begins at 1:00 PM.  Bring a dish, your $3 dues, tableware and a healthy appetite.  We will have a special tribute to the family history.  If you have any pictures,  documents, or just a story you would like to share, please bring those along.  This website is launching in conjunction with the reunion.  Feedback is greatly appreciated.
